The Telynau Stud is located just 3 miles South West of Caernarfon in Gwynedd, located in the very heart of Snowdonia. As a backdrop it has the peaks of Snowdon itself behind it and the fields at Telynau go down to the Menai Straits.

To locate Telynau it is usually best to travel along the A55 coast road from Chester/Liverpool/Shrewsbury areas, until you reach Junction 10 on the A55. Take the A487 Porthmadog road for 8 miles. Bypass Caernarfon still on the A487, until you see Snowdonia Adventure on the right hand side of the road. Just 60 yards further on is a turning before a chapel with a steeple, down a lane marked Glanrhyd. If you go as far as the turning for Porthmadog on the 2nd roundabout you have gone too far. Follow the lane down Glanrhyd for 1 mile, and Telynau-Gwylfa Farm is on your right hand side.
